Mother does everything possible to help her son with a disability fulfill his dream
Zulma Berríos is the perfect example of how a mother’s love is capable of achieving anything. After discovering that her son Marcos had a disability since birth, she did everything possible to make her son happy and gave him a fighting chance in life. Specialists learn Spanish while providing therapy
Prissila Sánchez spoke with a few of the physical therapists who work tirelessly at the Children’s Rehabilitation Institute of TeletonUSA in San Antonio. There, she discovered that most of them, very happily, have learned to speak Spanish in order to build a special bond with the children they serve.

The Three Wise Men visit the CRIT children
The Puerto Rican Heritage Society in San Antonio organized an annual event, where the Three Wise Men visit children at CRIT. The trio delivered toys and ate “rosca”, a traditional sweet cake.
